Payment Methods Shipping Charges Sales Tax Backorders Returns & Exchanges Order Status Sizing Information Payment Methods      Malibu Strings accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. Malibu Strings also accepts money orders made out to "Malibu Strings" mailed to: 21521 Blythe St Canoga Park, CA 91304 Shipping Charges All items are made when ordered. Our current shipping times and methods are as follows: Standard Shipping (US orders) - 10-12 business days from the time the order is placed - $12.95 Express Shipping (US orders) - 4-7 business days from the time the order is placed - $42.95 Standard International Shipping (Outside the US) - 12-16 business days from the time the order is placed - $26.95 Express International Shipping (Outside the US) - 7-10 business days from the time the order is placed - $48.95 All International orders are shipped through FedEx or USPS Express International Mail, unless another service is requested. For special shipping requests, you may call Customer Service at (818) 332-0527, fax to (818) 883-0444 or e-mail service@malibustrings.com. Please note that any customs transactions will be customer's responsibility. All orders to APO/FPO addresses are sent USPS Priority Mail. There are no additional fees. Sales Tax We charge NO SALES TAX for orders shipped outside of California. We charge required local and state taxes for California. The appropriate amount will be applied to your order when it is totaled by our shopping cart system. Backorders and out of stock merchandise Backordered merchandise includes items that are not currently in stock. In the event that your order can not be filled within 7 days we will put it on backorder status and notify you of the approximate delivery date via e-mail. If you do not respond to our e-mail notification, we will consider your order to be valid and we will notify you upon our shipment of the backorder items via e-mail. Return & Exchanges RETURNS Swimsuits and clothing items may only be returned, if they are unworn and tags are attached, within ten (10) business days of receipt. Panties and special order items are not returnable. PLEASE NOTE: If four or more bikinis are ordered and returned, a 15% restocking fee will apply. Complete the Return Form included in the package and ship the package back via a traceable shipping method with delivery confirmation to ensure that we receive your package. Any orders returned without any means of tracking or delivery confirmation will be considered an unauthorized return. We will not be held responsible for crediting your account if we cannot verify receipt of the return. All costs associated with shipping are at the expense of the customer and are non-refundable. Once your package has been received and inspected, a credit will be issued. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only, not including shipping and handling. Due to health regulations, suits that are soiled, worn, damaged, or laundered will not be accepted. If we receive such goods your account will be charged $15 and the items will be returned to you. EXCHANGES If you need a different size, you must place a new order for the needed replacement item(s) and return the item(s) you already received. This process is required because the desired item(s) may be out of stock by the time we receive your return. Because we work with a variety of specialty fabrics, we tend to run out of certain fabrics very quickly. By ordering again, it also ensures that you will receive your replacement item(s) quickly. DAMAGES & SHIPPING ERRORS If there has been an error in shipping or an item has arrived damaged, please notify customer service immediately by e-mail at service@malibustrings.com. Malibu Strings guarantees it's clothing to be free from damage or manufacturer defect for the first 60 days from date of order as long as you follow our care instructions. Malibu Strings suits are very delicate and experience normal "wear and tear" over time. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please notify us within 10 days of receiving your merchandise and we will happily exchange the unwashed/unworn item for the same item at no cost. Care Instructions – Malibu Strings suits are constructed of beautiful fabrics and trims that are extremely delicate in nature. While ALL of the suits can be worn in pool or ocean water, they are not intended for strenuous physical water activity or long periods of time in heavily chlorinated water. All swimwear should be hand washed in cold water with very mild soap. Lie flat or hang to dry. Sizing Information We specialize in swimsuits for the uninhibited, so when ordering keep in mind that our styles are cut SMALL. If you would like more coverage, order a size larger than you normally would. The table below shows the width of the top of our basic triangle tops.
